Every once in a while it's time to re-evaluate. What am I doing, what should I be doing. What do I like and am I doing it right now. What am I working towards and what's the chance of getting there. That sort of thing. Is it linked to me having my 30-crisis? Don't think so, but things do have to change...

After some shitty years filled with business crap, things finally come to an end on that front. That gives clarity and new views. It makes you rethink what you're doing now. And I must say, I love what I'm doing now! Great environment, great colleagues, nice clients, great projects. It's a world I didn't know - marketing and communications. A world in great need of objective input on the hype of 'digital'. Every clients wants 'social media', whether it works or not. Stepping into a company history of 'finding some other company to do the online part' gave enough opportunity and motivation to keep me going for a while.

Building something new and from scratch always triggers something in me. It makes me want to put in the effort, show off and leave something cool behind. Normally failure is not an option. Sometimes it is. My previous adventure ended in failure, so apparently it was an option.
