Olmeca Tequila have teamed up with world renowned DJ and producer Steve Aoki, for the second edition of Be the DJ. As part of Olmeca Tequila's mission to be the essential nightlife and electronic music brand, the Be the DJ platform supports up-and-coming DJ talents of the future. At the same time, it delivers on the brand’s commitment to bring the best in electronic music to fans around the globe.

At the heart of the campaign is a Facebook based community allowing visitors to enroll and be part of Olmeca’s Be the DJ school. Set up to discover the next generation of electronic music talent, the app invites aspiring DJs to download an exclusive edit of Aoki’s newly released track, Come with Me. Simply remix the track and upload your unique version. Those who showcase the greatest skill-set will be invited to a full day of mixing masterclass with Aoki himself. The best newcomer will be invited to open one of Aoki’s epic gigs. To top it off, the future star will also become one of Mixmag’s resident DJs in Ibiza during the 2013 summer season.
I worked on the strategic format and the technical execution. The project was developed and executed in-house. Analytics and community management were part of the day-to-day responsibilities of our own team running of the campaign.
